Dear Ender,
I've never considered you worth very much. Like most of your invidious endeavors, you wash your hands of them as soon as they backfire. This is the reason I quickly withdrew my support for your 'wagtheender' self-promotion.
You started all this friction at dailykos (as Geoff correctly noted in his column) when you tried to cleave away from Slate, but, typically, you assumed no responsibility for your handiwork.
I wonder how long it will take these advocates of your most recent self-aggrandizing project to learn that you cannot be trusted and that you are probably imbroiling them in some kind of legal entanglement with your pirating of copyright and logo laws.
You're a parsite, a cyberspace vampire, sucking at the lifeblood of people's creations.
But good luck with it.

Besides, you are a liar! I wasn't embraced by DailyKos. The opposite was the case. And the faq section was written in July 2005, at which time I was actively debunking the sort of lies you trade in.
actually, they haven't embraced him - most are denouncing him. But they've piled on his thread because of geoff's fraywatch column, they're using it to discuss "the meaning of it all"

I knew they were on to him at the time I made the post. The difference between his diary and our other diaries and comments is he lied and got recommended (if only for a short time) and we didn’t and got troll rated, i.e. he told them what they wanted to hear and was rewarded, we told them what we think and were vanished.
If you recall I had previously written three diary entries in defence of switters that were also troll rated and subsequently banned. You conveniently neglect to mention this because it doesn't support your defamation of me.
I did not write or tell them what they wanted to hear. I based what I wrote entirely on a fiction, and that was the whole point. In fact, that has been my point all along: people will latch onto fictions over reality at every turn, and then will grow priggish and peevish when the truth is revealed to them.
It is a fiction, for example, that the Fray and DailyKos are not indistinguishable. They are one and the same, and the fray regulars would have conducted themselves exactly as the kossacks did had the latter group invaded their turf.
Like the kossacks, the fraysters do not like and will not countenance strangers coming into their fold and telling them a thing or two. That is why I have always been an outsider on the Fray, and that is why people like you, Ender, and Schad, and others, continue to despise my presence -- because you have decided for whatever slanderous, insulting reason that I don't belong.
Even now, your reluctance to address me directly demonstrates your contempt for me, but you always felt that way. Like many of those who support your efforts, you were just awaiting the evidence to prove your previously arrived at judgments. This makes you identical to the kossacks in my view, and that was also my point.

My first encounter with you was when you attacked me. You then did a complete troll top post about me.
Even after that I gave you the benefit of the doubt. We had some friendly conversations. You then mentioned me favourably in several posts.
For some reason, you again changed your mind and started attacking me at every opportunity.
So...where does that leave us?
I agree that, in aggregate, there is no particular reason to believe that Fraysters wouldn't exhibit exactly the same behaviour given the powers that Kos trusted users have. I disagree that the individuals you name would be the ones to do it.
As for you, you're a slimeball.
At the risk of overstepping...
I'd like to invite both of you to join up over here - creative, thoughtful writers with a piquant touch of lunacy. I find both of you eminently entertaining, perhaps most so when, IMO, you've gone completely off the rails (stylistic differences, of course).
Remember - for some, insults and criticism are the most sincere possible praise.
So lets leave the Kossites to their "mission" and resume fighting amongst ourselves, shall we?

I for one appreciated that august was knowledgeable and technically savvy enough to assume command of this blog when it was needed, and his even-temperment, polite consideration of others, tact and diplomacy is positively refreshing in comparison to the opposite extreme-type of poster (too many to count anymore) who march around yelling, upraiding and spouting insults all the time.
