proof of cowardice

You never know when your comment might strike too close to home. So I'll take pictures.

I also want to congratulate. Well phrased. You're smacking a brick wall I'm afraid, but it was well struck.

And swit, you're not alone in your dirty little secret. At some undisclosed near future date I'll be another year closer to having to update my driver's license myself. And ironically, you're a year older than me. ;)

Sure - it's up there right now. I've had this done since this time last month. The only reason I didn't do it before was Elbo's recent post on a very similar analogy.

As far as fences and feeling old, I have another quote for you. "It's amazing how much mature wisdom resembles being too tired."

I'm feeling very mature and wise today. ;)

The more time I spend over there today, the more time I think I'm going to have to spend in the shower tonight. I'm gonna have to Lysol my eyeballs as it is.

I've got a beachhead, but I've been reading around and I honestly don't know where to go from here tomorrow.

I figured I didn't have much in common with them ideologically. I didn't realize that I actually don't have anything in common with them beyond our common use of carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen molecules as cellular material.

This is worse than going on a Macintosh graphics designers forum for a Windows-based CAD instructional designer.

Question: Do you think it would anyone any good at all for me to tilt at this particularly obtuse and noxious windmill? If so, can someone give me a suggested tack to take?

Ender - very nicely done. The pic is a little hard to read, but it's so nice to have evidence.

DC - thanks. That was one of the most humorous exchanges. That's a "trusted user" there I'm conversing with - note which reply she troll-rated? Very funny!

MZ - The lovely thing about parody is that you can magnify the ridiculous qualities of your subject, allowing close examination of the ludicrous aspects, all in a humorously nonthreatening way.

Unfortunately, they seem humorless over there. The only approach I can think to take is to post about the larger national political scene, the broken aspects of same, and draw parallels.

But I'm not convinced they're all humorless. I'm hoping there's a reasonably large group of people over there who are bright, get it, and keep quiet.

Let us know when you get banned...

I'm forty.

Yikes, what a bunch of geezers. I haven't even outlived Jesus yet. (I'm 34 in December.) Switters: I'll (conveniently) celebrate tomorrow by watching football and not thinking about it.

My site meter turned up a couple of that were done on fraysters' names (keifus & tenacious; keifus & dawn coyote). I think it's some of the kossies researching us.

(This is fun, kind of like Lord of the Flies.)

if you go over to DailyKos, just do a search on comments from "Eternal Hope" - her latest are hilarious, prim and proper - she's troll rating someone for calling a public figure a "boob"
