10. How do I know when someone has commented on my blog post?

As you may know, blogger has an email notification system, so when someone submits a comment on Wag the Slate, an email notification of the comment is sent to wagtheslate@gmail.com. Those email notifications can be automatically forwarded on to your email. In this way, you don’t have to check the blog to see if someone has commented on your post, and on the chance someone comments on an old post of yours, you'll receive the notification. The only issue is the filter can’t be set up to forward only comments to your posts. That means, if you elect to have comment notifications forwarded to your email, you will receive notifications of all comments posted to Wag the Slate. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it is something you should be aware of before you request email notifications. And of course, you can always request to be taken off the forwarding list at any time.

That said, if you want email notification of comments on Wag the Slate forwarded to your email, email your request to wagtheslate@gmail.com. Also, you don’t have to be a contributor to receive notifications.
